My work has grown at the intersection of two questions: how do people function in the realities of work and life, and what shapes us beneath what can be immediately seen?

STORY

I spent more than a decade in international business, working across South East Europe in commercial and senior leadership roles. I built markets, carried P&L responsibility, led teams and managers, negotiated, made decisions under pressure and worked across cultures and organisational systems.

For many years, I understood people largely through the realities of business: performance, responsibility, relationships, risk, ambition and execution.

At the same time, psychology had interested me long before it became part of my professional path.

My own life eventually brought these worlds closer together. I left Romania and built a life in Greece. I became a mother away from the familiar support of family and community. Questions of identity, belonging, relationship and home became lived questions rather than abstract ones.

Burnout later became a turning point. It interrupted the way I had learned to keep going and opened a deeper enquiry into what drives us, what we adapt to, what we repeat and what becomes possible when we can no longer live only from familiar ways of functioning.

Coaching opened one door. Psychology deepened it. Compassionate Inquiry brought greater attention to trauma, adaptation, emotion and the body. Psychoanalytic thinking continues to deepen my curiosity about what may operate outside immediate awareness and what becomes visible in relationship. Meditation and contemplative practice have added another dimension: the capacity to stay, observe and make room for experience without rushing to resolve it.

I do not experience these as separate professional identities or methods to be stacked together. Together, they shape the way I meet another human being.

What interests me increasingly is integration: how awareness becomes lived. How understanding changes the way we relate. How a leader's inner world enters a room. How patterns move between people and into teams and organisations. And, more broadly, what greater awareness asks us to participate in, reproduce or contribute to.

Perhaps this is where inner work and our impact on the world begin to meet.

I consider it a privilege to be invited into another person's inner world, and I try to meet that invitation with presence, curiosity, compassion, respect and humility.
